Review: SweetTarts Ropes

Hi guys! Sorry that I haven't been too active but the past couple weeks me, bebe and hubby have all been sick so things have not been fun at the Bilingual Mommy household. But I'm back and today I have a super sweet post!
Growing up my favorite candy were SweetTarts, I loved the chewy texture and the sour flavor so I was so excited to try the new SweetTarts Soft & Chewy Ropes and to know that Nestle is bringing them back on the market! This are ropes of licorice candy, with a tangy filling and let me tell you now, they are addictive! And the best part is that they contain no artificial flavors or colors which is always good.

They are sold in individuals package or in family pack of 8 ropes  perfect to share, I can already see me taking this to the movie theater or just watching movies at home. They are less sour than the original Sweet Tarts so the little ones are going to be able to enjoy them more and the the shape make it for some fun games!

Review: Emergen-C® Vitamin Drink Mix

Who doesn't need a little support? Even your immune system does from time to time. I always try to pack up on my Vitamin C the whole year round, so when the cold weather comes I'm prepared to keep those nasty colds at bay. My main source of vitamins are natural fruit, like oranges and strawberries but I always look for other products than can give them a hand, so when I received some samples of Emergen-C® Vitamin Drink Mix I decided to give them a try. These are individually packed fizzy drink mixes, you just put them in a glass of water and drink it up. They come in many different flavors like Lemon Lime, Raspberry and Orange and also as hot drink mixes and most importantly they contain 1,000mg of Vitamin C and other nutrients.

I didn't particularly loved the taste but didn't hate it either, kwim? I couldn't really find a major difference between the different flavors but I gotta say the cold mixes are pretty refreshing, my favorite was Coconut Pineapple. I liked the taste of the Immune + better, especially Berry Medley, this hot drink mix is charged with immune supporting ingredients and it tastes like one of those fruit flavored herbal tea that I love to drink in the afternoon when I'm ready to cozy up with a warm cup in my hands.

I already order a box of their variety pack from their website so I can experiment other flavors and give it a full test to see if they do make a difference supporting my immune system, if anything they make a good post workout drink since I was able to feel a quick energy boost after drinking it, probably because they contain the natural energizers from Vitamin B and electrolytes to help you replenish after a good sweat.

Review: REVEAL Men by Calvin Klein

Calvin Klein just released his newest fragrance for men, as all of their other fragrances Reveal has a very sensual and modern scent with notes of crystallized ginger, brandy pear and salt, it also contains suede,vanilla bean and agave nectar. Its seductive smell is perfect to wear for a night out but it's also fresh and clean for everyday use. The bottle is cool looking too, very elegant and simple but also strong and masculine, just like Reveal.

Me and my husband had the chance to sample this fragrance and we both thought it was very vibrant, he thought it was a great add to his collection of perfumes and I'm happy he did because I just loved how it smelled on his skin, it feels different from every other cologne he wears.

Review: Children’s Mucinex Multi-Symptom Cold (and a coupon!)

A couple months ago I received a free sample of Children's Mucinex Multi- Symptom Cold from Smiley360, I put it in the back of our medicine cabinet hoping I wasn't going to need it on this cold season.

 I know there's nothing worse than seeing your children sick or uncomfortable, I hate it more than anything and on average my 5 year old bonus kid is a pretty healthy girl. We've been lucky and I'm thankful for that, but recently the temperatures in the Northeast have been freezing cold and now that she started going to preschool she recently came home with her little droopy eyes and she wasn't been her normal active happy self. Review: No7 Protect & Perfect Advanced Serum

One of the items I received on Influenster Frosty VoxBox was a sachet of No7 Protect & Perfect Advanced Serum, this product is made by The Boots Company and apparently is one of the top sellers in the UK and it's clinically proven to reduce the appearance of wrinkles in two weeks of use.

 

 

The sample I received wasn't nearly enough to last two weeks so I wasn't able to see many results, but this serum although it seems a little heavy it absorbs very well. I applied it in the corner of my eyes, I must say I don't have many wrinkles as of yet but I chose this area because it is one of the most sensitive areas of your skin and is very prone to get those fine wrinkles we all want to get rid of. After used it left the area very smooth, almost silky and I didn't have any bad reaction as I've had before with other facial creams. This is probably because it's hypo-allergenic and dermatologically tested, so this makes it perfect for sensitive skins.

Once I get more serious about my anti aging regimen I am going to give this product a chance and I'm hoping to be part of the 80% of women who saw results after using the serum. I also have to mention that at a little over $20.00 this is very well priced comparing it to other similar products.
